This region's reputation for culinary and
wine excellence continues to grow. We have half a dozen featured
restaurants in the regional section of the 2008 Good Food Guide, and
dozens more that serve up good honest country tucker without a fuss.
Most local wineries are family owned
operations making small batches of high quality wine of limited edition.
The cellar doors are extensions to the shed and most are open over the
weekend.
