Welcome
to Woodend
Woodend
welcomes you for this wonderful festival, now in its third year. Even in the midst of winter Woodend offers many warm, cosy treats for
visitors.
Warm cafes, restaurants and guest houses where you can while away time
in front of an open fireplace
and a great range of specialty stores will make your visit memorable.
If you're
feeling particularly adventurous, you might like to try climbing Hanging
Rock,
which in Winter is not for the faint-hearted. Just over at Mt Macedon
is the fantastic
Memorial Cross and lookout.
Take in the sights and enjoy a visit to the
cafes at both locations.
Locally
Woodend is surrounded by many wineries and vineyards. All are open for
you to visit, and some will be offering special products and discounts to Festival patrons.
More information will be provided in your Official Program guide
available on the Festival weekend.
For
most visitors, Woodend is encapsulated by its charming High Street precinct,
and between the festival events you will find opportunity to spend some
time browsing and enjoying all that is on offer.
The
Woodend businesses welcome you and hope that you enjoy your visit to our
village.
